|Nominet to release shorter .uk
domain names in 2014
Nominet, the organisation responsible for UK domain names, has announced that from the 10th of June, 2014, shorter .uk domain names will be available.
For example, this website's domain name is spartanmedia.co.uk. As of this summer, the shorter spartanmedia.uk will be available to register for the very first time.
The shorter .uk domain names will be offered to the current Registrant of the longer .co.uk domain names in most instances. So if you are interested in acquiring one of our domain names in the shorter .uk version and / or the .co.uk version please get in touch so that we can note your interest.

Who owns Spartan Media?
Internet entrepreneur, George Marshall, founded Spartan Media to reflect his spartan approach to working online.
Spartan Media was previously known as Breeze Media, but that name and website has since been mothballed.
George is also the author of the book, Get Out While You Can, a book about escaping the rat race by making money online. A must read for anyone involved in online business or looking for an alternative to the rat race. The book is available to buy now from Amazon.
